Burlington students have been making cancer care bags during their Family and Consumer Science (FACS) classes.

FACS teacher Judy Elliott has been having her two classes cut, pin and fold the fabric to make cancer care bags. The bags go to Oklahoma Tenaciously Teal, where they will be filled care items and a hand-writtten note to women fighting cancer. The donations will go to 15 different treatment centers across Oklahoma.

Elliott and her classes have been making the bags for three years, this being her fourth. They have donated 100 bags in the past years but this year they are donating close to 200.
