If I read it right, the U.S. Senate just passed a bill making daylight savings time permanent. Now all it has to do is pass the House. My only questions are, why it took so long, and with runaway prices on everything, and major turmoil in the world, why is this getting top priority?

Manipulation is what makes the world news go around. The USA Today fact-check team went over many things that have been posted about the Russia-Ukraine conflict. I don't know how accurate these fact checkers are, but they have to be light years ahead of the Facebook fact checkers. They told about stuff like planes being shot down, and people-soldier confrontations.

Nearly all the photos/films are from other stories and years old. One claim was Joe Biden is planning to sell Alaska to Russia. The checkers decided it was satire. The claim that the U.S. president plans to sell Alaska to Russia stems from an article published by The Babylon Bee, a satire website. There is no evidence Biden plans to sell Alaska. On the other hand, every day is a new world for Joe.

The only one they found true is pretty funny in itself. An image showing a soldier flipping off a warship with the text "Russian warship go (expletive) yourself" is an authentic Ukrainian postage stamp. The design honors the soldiers who defended Snake Island.

This lady is right on: Honestly, I’ll pay whatever gas costs, and I’ll pay whatever groceries costs. I’m just grateful that I don’t have to comfort my 3-year-old son crying from hearing explosions outside. I’m grateful I don’t have to worry about being separated from him and terrified of what might happen to him without me to protect him. I’d rather have tons of food that he refuses to eat because he’s picky, than not be able to feed him when he’s hungry because we can’t go anywhere safe. I did wonder if she was talking about the Ukraine or Chicago!

My feeling depressed may have been explained. I have discovered what's wrong with my brain. On the left side there is nothing right and on the right side there is nothing left!
