Woods and Barber counties are working together to improve bridges along the state line. Monday the Woods County Commissioners signed a memorandum of understanding that had already been signed by Barber County, Kanas. This agreement will facilitate bridge inspections and repairs on the border between the counties.
Chairman Randy McMurphy, District 2 commissioner, opened the meeting Monday with District 3 Commissioner John Smiley and District 1 Foreman Damien Starks present. County Clerk Shelley Reed also attended.
