Northwestern to begin summer work hours

All Northwestern Oklahoma State University locations will observe summer work hours starting Monday, June 3, through Thursday, Aug. 1.

In an effort to better serve Northwestern’s prospective students during these adjusted summer work weeks, the following Northwestern-Alva offices will remain open on Fridays: Recruitment, Business Office, Financial Aid, Registry.

Northwestern offices will be closed May 27 for Memorial Day, June 19 for Juneteenth, and July 4 for Independence Day.

Summer enrollment is still open at Northwestern for both undergraduate and graduate programs. Summer classes begin June 3 for June-only classes and classes held in both June and July; July-only classes begin July 2.

The final days to register for classes in the summer are June 4 for June-only classes; July 3 for July-only classes, and June 6 for classes held in both June and July.

Fall classes begin Aug. 19, and enrollment will remain open until Aug. 27.

Freshman and Transfer Orientation will take place Aug. 17 in Alva. Freshmen will meet in Percefull Fieldhouse with registration starting at 8:30 a.m., a welcome at 9 a.m., and concluding at noon. Transfers will meet in the Education Center, Room 109, from 1 to 2 p.m.
