Alva Board of Education members had a chance to see the new activity bus with its distinctive Goldbug logos before their meeting Tuesday, Sept. 3. The bus was delivered earlier but without the colorful identifying wrap. Supt. Jeremy Brashears said the bus would be parked on the downtown square the next morning so residents could admire it. The bus was used that Tuesday night for a game at Watonga. It is a welcome upgrade from a bus that kept needing repairs.
