On Feb. 25, 2015, authorities in Sedgwick County, Kansas, found the body of a man who had been shot to death along a highway near Wichita. Deputies had no idea who he was or how he ended up in their county, but they decided to contact the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for possible leads after finding a slip of paper from the Cimarron Turnpike west of Sand Springs.
