MIGHTY FINE CHILI – At Kiowa's Christmas in the Heartland celebration Sunday afternoon; folks at the vendor show got to enjoy bowls of chili as delicious as the weather was that day for December. Entrants in the Bryan Chevrolet Chili Cookoff made a variety of delicious chili – some spicy; some smokey; some with melt-in-your mouth chunks of steak. Winners were: 1st place; Bryan Nielsen; 2nd place; Cindra Williams standing in for her friend Randy; 3rd place; Brenda Myers standing in for her husband Pat; and People's Choice Winner Jason Thayer.
