Bill Johnson Correctional Center in partnership with Oklahoma Creer Tech held its first job fair for trainees. Several companies were in attendance including Walmart, Trojan Labor, American Indian Criminal Justice Navigation Council and Center for Employment Opportunities to guide trainees through the application process. It is hoped that providing trainees with job opportunities will help them land on their feet after their discharge from ODOC custody. Many of the trainees have completed Career Tech job training in multiple fields to make them more marketable to potential employers.
