AUSTIN, Texas (AP, posted Sept. 13, 2016) — Austin police say a man and woman found dead last week in a tent in the woods were killed.
Police said Monday that the Travis County medical examiner's office has ruled that the two deaths were homicides. Police say they haven't identified any suspects in the slayings of 43-year-old Samuel Davila and 39-year-old Charlene Whipple.
Police Sgt. Jerry Bauzon says investigators won't release information on how they were killed until officials have arrested the person or people responsible.
