Biologist hopes his rap video will spread faster than Zika

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP, posted Sept. 14, 2016) — A Fairfax County mosquito biologist has brought back his hip-hop alter ego to teach listeners how to prevent the spread of the Zika virus.

The Washington Post (http://wapo.st/2cJstqL) reports that Andy Lima, who goes by MC Bugg-Z online, posted a video on YouTube last month called "Zika 101 (Vector Control)" to address the threat mosquitoes pose.

"Yo, don't get sick with Zika from the bite of a mosquit-a / Prevention is easy, relax and I'll teach you," Lima raps before going over the importance of removing standing water, where mosquitoes breed.
