AMS Ladybugs fall in extra innings to Woodward

The Alva Middle School Ladybugs softball team hosted the Woodward Lady Boomers for their final home game of the season and just fell short of the win with a final score of 3-4.

The Ladybugs had a strong start against Woodward on Monday evening as their defense held strong, going three up and three down with two ground outs and a strike out for their turn at bat. In the bottom of the first, Chloe Durkee led off for Alva with a double line drive out to center field to put her into scoring position.
