Hixon ties school record in final round of GAC Preview

Low scores came in bunches during the final round of the Great American Conference Preview Tournament at Lake Hefner Golf Course in Oklahoma City, including Rangers freshman Cody Hixon’s school record tying round of 68.
Hixon’s round of 68 paced the Rangers to an even par round of 288. Sophomore Tyler Miller also went under par, carding a 71 on the day. Hixon’s three round total of 217 (76-73-68) was good enough for a tie for ninth, while Miller’s 221 (75-75-71) placed him in a tie for 14th.
