Bison Fourth in OBU Invitational

SHAWNEE – Racked by injury, Oklahoma Baptist finished fourth in the OBU Cross Country Invitational men's race Saturday at Gordon Cooper Technology Center.

Grant Alexander was unable to finish due to injury and OBU was already without Hunter Doucette for the meet.

Jacob Janzen was third to lead the Bison, finishing the eight kilometers in 25:38.28. DeAngelo Robleswas 18th at 26:32.27 and Blaine Whitson was 21st in 26:46.88.

Nathan Crowson (42nd) finished in 27:48.60 and Tommy Uglean was the final scorer in 44th at 27:58.66.

The Bison finished with 39 points, trailing East Central (51), Rogers State (53) and Butler Community College (59) in the 10-team field.

OBU returns to action in the Great American Conference Championship in Durant Oct. 22.
