September and October have been busy months for Cherokee FFA members.
On Sept. 20, Cherokee FFA members turned in essays for the Alfalfa County Farm Bureau Essay Contest, including Callista Stouder, Kacie Eshelman, Bridget Wilhite, Moriah Leslie, Haley Hutchison, Blake Failes and Bethany Lancaster. Members who placed in Division 1 were Blake Failes who placed third and revived a plaque and $50, Haley Hutchison who placed second and received a plaque and $75, and Moriah Leslie who placed first and received a plaque and $100. In Division 2, Cherokee FFA member Bethany Lancaster took first place....
