Harding Women's Golf Concludes Fall with Fourth-Place Finish in Hot Springs

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Freshman Zhane Mayo concluded the fall portion of Harding's women's golf schedule with her second top-10 finish in five tournaments Tuesday. Mayo shot 18-over 162 and tied for 10th place at the Henderson State GIC Invitational, played over 36 holes at Hot Springs Country Club.

Freshman Bryle Alcorn and junior Katelyn Walker were both inside the top 20. Alcorn was 16th at 168, and Walker tied for 17th at 170.

Henderson State won the team event at 621, 10 strokes better than Southwestern Oklahoma. Arkansas-Monticello was third at 655, and Harding was fourth at 673. The Lady Bisons improved by 15 strokes in the second round, shooting 329 after Monday's 344.

Gloria Choi of Southwestern Oklahoma was the individual medalist, shooting 9-over 153.

Mayo, of Hastings, England, was Harding's stroke leader during its fall tournaments, averaging 80.9 shots per round. Alcorn was second at 84.6.
