Southern Nazarene knocks off Midwestern State on the road

WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Bailee Turang and McKenna Quallscombined for 27 of Southern Nazarene's 37 kills as SNU downed Midwestern State, 3-1 (25-22, 25-22, 15-25, 25-14), Saturday afternoon.

The Crimson Storm (14-10) knocked off the Mustangs (11-16) for just the second time in 14 matches and snapped a four-match skid against MSU.

Turang led the way with 15 kills and 13 digs to go with an ace and a block. Qualls had 12 kills and six digs along with a pair of aces. Kaitlyn Vought also had two blocks and nine digs along with an ace. Abbey Bell recorded her fourth 30-dig match with 31 on the night....
