Bison Rumble Past Thunder

SHAWNEE – Dunks, sharp shooting and ball control were all on display as Oklahoma Baptist got its first win of the season, blowing past Manhattan Christian 113-80 Monday.

Six Bison reached double figures in the scoring column and the Bison shot 62.5 percent for the game from the field. OBU hit 48 percent from the three-point arc and canned 32 of 40 free throws for 80 percent.

The win snapped a six-game losing streak, dating back to last season.

"This was a good win for us, but we obviously aren't satisfied," said senior Steven Green. "After last year a lot of people don't expect us to win. Ever...
