Crown produces career-high 19 points; Southern Arkansas stumbles on the road at Delta State, 60-54

CLEVELAND, Miss. – Freshman forward Kimberly Crown manufactured a career-high 19 points in a back and forth affair on Tuesday night inside Walter Sillers Coliseum, but Southern Arkansas (1-3) was unable to spoil the Lady Statesmen's home opener as Delta State (1-2) escaped with a 60-54 victory in the 36th meeting between the former Gulf South Conference foes.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Southern Arkansas led for the first seven minutes of the contest, before Delta State took a 13-12 lead into the second quarter.
