INA R. VINCENT SYLVESTER

Ina R. Vincent Sylvester was born August 24, 1921, to Clarence and Jennie (Arndt) Culver in Freedom, Oklahoma. She passed away, Saturday December 17, 2016, at the Weatherford Living Center in Weatherford, Oklahoma, at the age of 95.

Ina graduated from Freedom High School with the class of 1939. She was united in marriage to Loyd Vincent April 9, 1940, at Loyd's grandfathers' home east of Freedom, and he preceded her in death November 28, 1991. Following their marriage they farmed on the Clothier Farm for 16 years. They moved to Freedom, where Ina served as postmaster for 26 years, retiring in 1975. After retirement they moved to Longdale where they enjoyed their retirement fishing and gardening.

Ina married Russell Sylvester in 1998 and they enjoyed traveling together. Russell preceded her in death June 12, 2002. After Russell's passing, Ina made the decision to have her care shared between her two daughters, Sherry and Jeanne, sharing that care until October 21, 2016, when she went to the Weatherford Living Center.

Ina's greatest joy was her family. The highlight of her days were visits by her many great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Ina was a member of the Freedom Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Jennie Culver; husbands, Loyd Vincent and Russell Sylvester; and grandson, Clay Vincent Beagley.

Ina is survived by her two daughters and their families, Sherry Beagley and her husband Jim (of Lookeba) and Jeanne Winn and her husband Dudley (of Kingston); grandchildren Criss and Mark Flock (of Lubbock, Texas), and Cari and Dean Farrow (of Lookeba), Vaughn and Kim Rader (of Alva), Darrin Rader and Michelle Tyner (of Orlando, Oklahoma), Dale Rader (of Columbia Falls, Montana), Danielle Winn and Corey Maples (of McKinney, Texas), Heather Winn (of McKinney, Texas); great-grandchildren, Laryn and Preston Strickland (of Tuttle, Oklahoma), Landry Flock (of Lubbock, Texas), Brianna and Mark Lumpkin, Marlee and Todd Newton, and Daylin and Crystal Farrow (all of Hinton), Riley Rader (of Oklahoma City), Sheldon Darnell (of McKinney, Texas), Raegan Rader (of Mooreland), Mitchell Rader (of Alva), David Summers (of McKinney, Texas), Logan Rader (of Enid), Keely Summers (of McKinney, Texas), and Pearson Prows (of McKinney, Texas); great-great grandchildren, Jack, Jett and Lilah K. Strickland; Ryker, Willow and Grace Lumpkin; Beau Newton; Ledgend Smith; Shai and Dation Farrow; and Shayden, Scotty, Navaeh and Season; and two more due in January and February; a special adopted grandson, Peter Enckell from Finland; sisters Vera Ferguson and Faye Hope (both of Freedom), Wanda Reed (of Wichita, Kansas) and one brother, Ronal Culver and his wife Carlene (of Wichita, Kansas); and her loving companion of the last 10 years Ms. Sophie, her pug; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be in the Freedom High School Auditorium on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 1 p.m.in Freedom, Oklahoma, with Rev. Mark Lumpkin and Mr. Mark Kinkel officiating.
