Funeral services for Winifred Adaline Gates will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2017, at the Waynoka Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dave Jones, pastor of the Waukomis Christian Church officiating. Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka, LLC.

Winifred Adaline Gates, daughter of the late Herbert Thomas and Sara Mima (Potter) Springer, was born August 8, 1926, at Waynoka, Oklahoma, and passed away January 10, 2017, at Enid, Oklahoma, at the age of 90 years, 5 months and 2 days.

In 1940 she was united in marriage to Everett Franklin Willson in Waynoka. Everett passed away in 1960.

In 1970 she was united in marriage to Frank Gates at Enid.

Winifred is survived by four children, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
