CHISHOLM – The Alva High School Ladybugs were victorious against their rivals Chisholm 42-35 on Friday night with the help of freshman point-guard Payton Jones, who scored 21 points.

Following a 13-5 run, Alva commanded a 24-11 lead at the end of the first half. Though Chisholm fought back in the second half outscoring the Ladybugs 14-28, Alva was able to hold off the Lady Horns' comeback to get the win. With 14 points in the fourth quarter, Alva solidified their lead.
