FRISCO, Texas. — Southern Nazarene's track & field traveled to Frisco Texas, to compete in the 2017 Indoor Track & Field Open. The event was held in the Ford Center at The Star, which is the Dallas Cowboys indoor practice facility.

For the men, Garrett McGrady set a new indoor school record with a throw of 16.14 meters, which earned him a sixth place finish. McGrady's throw surpassed the NCAA Division II provisional which is 15.77 meters.
