Hillcats Split Doubleheader with Colorado Christian

CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Rogers State baseball team split two tight games with Colorado Christian on Saturday at the Diamond Sports Complex. RSU won game one, 6-5, but CCU took the nightcap, 2-1, to split the doubleheader. The Cougars won the three-game series with a 12-inning 3-2 victory on Friday.

After falling behind 3-0 early in game one, the Hillcats rallied to take game one, 6-5.

The Cougars went up, 2-0, in the first inning on a two-RBI single to the gap in left to plate the first two runs of the game. CCU increased the margin to 3-0 with a double down...
