Bison Second at NCCAA National Championship

HOUGHTON, N.Y. – (Day 1 Results) The Oklahoma Baptist men's track and field team sits in second place at the NCCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championship, following Friday's events at the Kerr-Pegula Field House.

The Bison have 52 points at the midway point of the meet, trailing Bethel (Ind.) in first place with 59.5 points. Dallas Baptist is third with 33 points after six events.

Spencer Lashley claimed the national championship in the pole vault with a height of 4.52 meters. Hayden Ashley finished second at 4.42 meters, and Luke Cusack took sixth place at 4.12 meters.
