ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — It's been a year of headaches and a few close calls early in the year for Southern Nazarene, but after two one-run losses, SNU picked up its first win of the year in a 2-1 victory at Henderson State.

The win gives the Crimson Storm (1-10, 1-2 GAC) its first win of the year and ends the three-game series with the Reddies (7-3, 2-1 GAC).

SNU fell 12-3 in the first game of the doubleheader.

If not for the fourth inning in the opener for SNU, it could have been a different outcome. The Storm allowed 11 of Henderson's 12 in the bottom of the fourth.
