Softball Unable to Cap Rallies in Friday Losses

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern's offense came around late in both ends of Friday's double-header against Arkansas-Monticello, but unfortunately it was a little late on both accounts as the Savage Storm fell 5-1 in the opener and 6-5 in game two at the Southeastern Softball Field.

The losses drop the Storm to 6-6 overall on the year and get them off to an 0-2 start in Great American Conference play.

The most drama came in game two where UAM opened up a 4-0 lead through the top of the third inning before Destiny Riddle answered in the bottom half with an RBI single that plated Symphoni Shomo.
