Reddies Lose In Extra-Inning to No. 24 Union 6-5

 


Union University put together back-to-back doubles in the top of the 10th-inning to escape with a 6-5 win over Henderson State, Tuesday at Clyde Berry Field in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The Bulldogs, 17-3 overall and ranked No. 24 nationally, used one-out doubles by Hayden Lewis and Ryne Roper to avoid the upset.

Henderson, 13-5 overall, held a 3-1 lead after the first-inning as the Reddies got a three-run double by Dylan McCain.

After Union scored a run in the second, Henderson put together three hits in the bottom of the frame with Alan Hall reaching on a base hit then scoring on a Hayden Lessenberr...
