Trey Adkison Fourth in Decathlon after Day 1 at Hendrix Multis

CONWAY, Ark. – Four members of the Harding men's track and field team are taking on two athletes from Central College and one from Hendrix in the decathlon Friday and Saturday at the Hendrix Spring Break Multi.
On Friday athletes competed in the 100 meters, long jump, shot put, high jump and 400 meters. After those first five events, Harding's top performer is senior Trey Adkison, fourth with 2,946 points. Freshman Austin Nelson is fifth with 2,911, sophomore Kendell Naceanceno is sixth with 2,744, and senior Ronnie Smith is seventh with 2,262.
