Bulldogs Split on Saturday, Avoid Sweep vs Boll Weevils

WEATHERFORD, Okla. – SWOSU Baseball dropped the first game of the day 11-5, but recovered to take the third and final game 8-1 and avoid the series sweep against Arkansas-Monticello on Saturday. After letting the first game get away from them, the Dawgs were able to piece together a quality start on the mound from Devin Ring and utilized timely hitting to walk away winners in the series finale.
The victory also snaps a seven-game losing streak, the longest winning drought of the season for the baseball team.
Up next will be a midweek non-conference affair against Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday...
