Harding Women's Track Posts Three Top-Five Finishes in Missouri

 


CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Competing against a mostly Division I field, Harding had three members of the women's track and field team record top-five finishes at the 2017 Drury Hotels Joey Haines Invitational, hosted Friday and Saturday by Southeast Missouri State University.

Raianne Mason, a junior from New Lima, Ohio, placed fifth among 17 runners in the 400-meter hurdles. Her time of 1 minute, 4.62 seconds was a personal best and the fastest by a Lady Bison in Harding's NCAA era (since 1997). Mason's time was just off the school record of 1:03.68, set by Lori Wright in 1991.
