Arkansas medical marijuana panel OKs rules

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — The Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission has given final approval to the rules governing cultivators and dispensaries.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (http://bit.ly/2otrXno ) reports that the rules were approved Tuesday but must survive lawmakers' review in order to go into effect by May 8. The rules are required to go into effect by then because of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment, and any delay would be out of compliance with the state constitution.
