Reddies take both games from SWOSU on Friday in Weatherford

GAME ONE:

Henderson State used three homeruns to score five of its six runs and defeat Southwestern Oklahoma State 6-3 in the first game of Friday's doubleheader in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

The Reddies got on the board first in the top of the second inning, when Selena Mendoza singled with two outs and Keirsten Seahorn took advantage, sending a homer over the wall in left centerfield to give Henderson a 2-0 lead early.

SWOSU answered in the fourth, scoring a run on an RBI single from Sidney Kirk, and two on a Reddies fielding error, to take their first lead of the day, 3-2.
