SE Wins 11th-Straight With Victory over UNK

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – No. 41 Southeastern pushed its winning streak to 11 straight after downing Nebraska-Kearney 5-2 in a rematch of last season's first-round matchup at the NCAA Central Region Tournament.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 16-2 on the season with the regular season set to come to an end on April 18 when they host Midwestern State at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.

SE left doubles play with a 2-1 advantage as Alexsandra Reljic and Darija Catipovic picked up an 8-6 win at the one position.

Maria Martinez and Luisa Auffarth would ensure the Storm entered singles play with a lead after downing their opponents 8-6 as well at number three.

The Lopers would get a singles match at number two and even the score briefly, but Reljic would snag a 6-1, 6-0 win at number one to go up 3-2.

Samantha Coquinos would gut out as 7-6 firsts et win at number three over Amanda Alvarez and snag the second set 6-4 to push the lead to 4-2.

Auffarth would pick up the win at number six over Camryn Parnell to clinch thematch, downing her foe 5-7, 6-3, 6-3, securing a 5-2 victory.
