McAlister's gem key as OC splits with Arkansas-Fort Smith

OKLAHOMA CITY (April 23, 2017) – Mason McAlister didn't get any run support Sunday until after he was done pitching, but that didn't seem to faze the junior right-hander from Yukon.
McAlister tossed a five-hit shutout and Garrett Wages drove in the only run with a fielder's choice grounder in the bottom of the seventh, lifting Oklahoma Christian to a 1-0 win over Arkansas-Fort Smith at Dobson Field.
Arkansas-Fort Smith rebounded to take the second game of the doubleheader – and the series win – with a 6-3 win in the second game, thanks to a seventh-inning grand slam by Jordany Santiago.
