SHAWNEE –Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer returns to the OBU Soccer Complex for a Monday evening meeting with (RV) Texas Woman's at 5:30 p.m. looking to rebound after suffering their first loss of the season on Friday night in the Lone Star State.Oklahoma Baptist (3-1) averaging 2.5 goals per match, paced byRuth Kingwho has three in her account for the season.Reagan Mannhas two to her credit, and five others have tallied at least one strike in the early going. The Lady Bison have had great ball movement to get their goals, owning an assist rate of 80 percent; King leads the team with three assists whileEmmily Infantehas two.Defensively, OBU has given up six goals in four matches, but had held three straight opponents to just one goal before Friday's defeat.Emily Griffithowns a 1.43 goals-against average and has collected seven saves on 34 shots faced.Texas Woman's (3-1-1) received votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II poll, and enters Monday's contest having won two of their last three, including a 4-0 dispatching of fellow GAC team Southern Nazarene. Chelsea Martin has accounted for three of the TWU's six goals this season, and ball movement has been solid with each goal for the Pioneers coming off an assist. Maddie Vickroy has posted a .40 GAA and .895 save percentage to help a stout defense that's given up just two goals this season.Last season, OBU used a goal byAbigail Hicksto take down then No. 15-ranked Texas Woman's in Denton, Texas. It was the Lady Bison's first win over a ranked opponent in Division II.
