LEWISVILLE, Texas – (Full Results) Oklahoma Baptist women's swimming took first in the 400-yard freestyle relay at the North Texas Relays Friday night.
Victoria Fonville, Tammy Price, Celina Marquez and Miriam Avila took the event in 3:31.64, defeating the competition by less than one second.
The win marks the first-ever relay victory for the Lady Bison at the meet, hosted by North Texas at the Westside Aquatic Center. OBU faced Division I and II competition, including UNT, Houston, Southern Methodist, Arkansas-Little Rock and Oklahoma Christian. The Lady Bison finished fourth with 242 points...
