Women's Soccer Shuts Out Southern Nazarene Saturday

BETHANY, Okla. – The Harding women's soccer team shutout Southern Nazarene Saturday 1-0 in Great American Conference action.

Harding improves to 4-7-3 overall and 3-6-1 in the GAC.

Southern Nazarene falls to 3-10-0 overall and 1-6-0 in the GAC

GOALS

Harding 1, Southern Nazarene 0 – 12th minute – Emma Chilton sent in a cross from the left side to the head of Morgan Springborn for her second goal of the season.

STATS

Harding took 15 shots, eight were on goal led by Bethany Sutherlandand Sierra Phillips who each had three.

Southern Nazarene took 18 shots, nine were on goal led by Hannah Robinson who had five shots, three were on goal.

Jessica Woessner started in goal for Harding and made three saves. Anna Claire Lewis came on at halftime and six saves.

It was Harding's first shutout of the season.

UP NEXT

Harding will play it next two games at home. The Lady Bisons will face Northwestern Oklahoma Thursday at 7 p.m., and Southwestern Oklahoma Saturday at 11 a.m.
