SHAWNEE – David Estrada earned the Great American Conference's Offensive Player of the Week award after helping Oklahoma Baptist to a pair of wins over non-conference foes last week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Estrada, a senior from Cancun, Mexico, scored three goals, including both match-winners, from his center back position last week. The defender scored the deciding goal against Upper Iowa in the final 10 minutes of the match to give OBU a 3-2 win before scoring both goals in a 2-0 affair against Southwest Baptist to close out the week. This is the fourth weekly GAC honor of his career, and the first time to earn the offensive award.

Oklahoma Baptist has now had eight different Bison take home weekly conference honors, and has earned the Offensive Player of the Week award two of the last three weeks.

The Bison (6-7-1, 2-3 GAC) honor Estrada and three others at Senior Night tonight against Southern Nazarene at 7:30 p.m. at the OBU Soccer Complex.
