Lucas appointed to National Defense Legislation Conference Committee

Congressman Frank Lucas (R-Okla.) and senior Senate Armed Services Committee member Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) conferr to discuss Oklahoma's priorities in the upcoming legislation.

Washington, D.C. – Wednesday, Congressman Frank Lucas (R-OK) was appointed by Speaker Paul Ryan to serve on the congressional conference committee for the National Defense Authorization Act of 2018 (NDAA). Lucas, who serves as vice chairman of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, will join committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-TX) to focus on the cybersecurity, research, and space aspects of the annual defense legislation.
