Soccer Shuts Out Ouachita

ADA – The East Central University soccer team earned a key 1-0 shutout victory over Ouachita Baptist at Tiger Field. The win puts the Tigers in fourth in the Great American Conference standings, with just two matches left to play for the season. ECU is one point ahead of Northwestern Oklahoma State, who has just one match left to play.
ECU (6-6-4, 3-3-4 GAC) started slow, but ended up out shooting Ouachita (3-13, 3-9 GAC) 23-20 overall and 9-7 in shots on goal.
Junior Chloe Hull earned her fifth shutout of the season, the second most in a single season for a Tiger goalkeeper in school history....
