Women's Soccer Falls to Southwestern Oklahoma in GAC Tournament

SHAWNEE, Okla. – The Harding women's soccer team fell 3-0 to Southwestern Oklahoma Thursday in the semifinals of the Great American Conference Tournament.

Harding ends its season with a 7-9-3 overall record.

Southwestern Oklahoma improves to 11-3-4 overall and will play for the tournament championship Saturday against the winner of the Oklahoma Baptist, East Central game.

GOALS

Southwestern Oklahoma 1, Harding 0 – 20th minute – Alimata Rabo dribbled past the defenders and found the lower right side of the goal.

Southwestern Oklahoma 2, Harding 0 – 45th minute – Lauren Williams hit a shot from past the midfield line.

Southwestern Oklahoma 3, Harding 0 – 54th minute – Alimata Rabo scored her second goal of the game.

STATS

Harding took 16 shots, six were on goal. Bethany Sutherland led Harding with four shots.

Southwestern Oklahoma took 19 shots, seven were on goal. Alimata Rabo took eight shots, three were on goal.
