KEARNEY, Neb. – Oklahoma Baptist, disappointed in a fifth-place finish at the Central Region Cross Country Meet Saturday, has an agonizing 48 hours ahead of them.

At fifth place in the region, Oklahoma Baptist must wait on a NCAA committee decision to determine the eight at-large berths for the National Championship field.

"It's very disappointing from the standpoint that we thought we could finish in the top three, if not compete for the first-place trophy," said OBU Coach Matt Kennedy. "We picked a bad time to have an average day."
