Southern Nazarene loses its first home game of the season 85-83

BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene couldn't make it a 5-0 start inside the Sawyer Center, as it fell 85-83 to Arkansas Tech to lose for the first time on their home floor this season.

The Crimson Storm (5-6, 3-4 GAC) battled the entire game, and made things interesting for the number two team in the Great American Conference in the Golden Suns (9-1, 5-1 GAC). Both teams shot 43 percent from the field, but the difference came from behind the arc. ATU shot 50 percent, while SNU shot just 28 percent.
