ECU Baseball Earns First Win of 2018 Season

BOLIVAR, MO. – The East Central University baseball team claimed a 17-14 victory over Southwest Baptist in the second game of the 2018 season.
The Tigers (1-1) saw at least one hit by all the starting nine batters, with three earning two hits each. Senior Trevor Crone led the group with two hits, a double, home run, three runs and four RBIs.
Junior Chris Sanchez started the game on the mound, throwing the first six innings. He allowed eight hits and five runs, while striking out six batters to earn the win.
