Southeastern Splits Action at Edmond

EDMOND, Okla. – Southeastern opened day two of the Edmond Region by rallying for an extra inning, 5-3 win over Northeastern State, before closing out the event with a 3-1 loss to Oklahoma Christian in Edmond, Okla.
The split moved the Savage Storm to 4-7 overall on the season with a Feb. 17 twinbill at Newman in Wichita, Kan., next on the schedule.
Symphoni Shomo, Elexis Watson and Mykaela Wallaceeach posted two hits, with Destiny Riddle, Sydnee Hinkleand Kennedy Salyers each turning in one.
Wallace drove in a pair of runs, including a homer, while Riddle, Watson and Hinkle each drove in one....
