The Nebraska softball lineup has received a spark compliments of Ashley Guile.
To be clear, Guile hasn't suited up for the Huskers since 2012 (she also was a grad manager for NU), but it was Guile who encouraged Ally Riley, then a seventh-grader from Sooner land, to come attend an NU softball camp.
“I was like, 'Nebraska … football school,'” said Riley, an Alva, Oklahoma, native. “And then we came to camp and I met the coaches and I just instantly loved it, and ever since my goal was to play here.”
