HSU'S Eschberger Named GAC Pitcher of the Week

Henderson State's Zach Eschberger was named Great American Conference Pitcher of the Week for his performance last weekend against East Central.
The junior left-hander improved to 5-1 on the season recording a complete-game shutout last Saturday against the Tigers.
The native of Bullard, Texas faced just two batters above the minimum and at one time retired 14 straight.
Eschberger allowed just three hits and struck out five in the 7-inning 10-0 victory.
For the season, Eschberger has a 2.96 earned run average and has struck out 37 batters in 48 innings of work.
