AHS top marks highlight 2018 opening track meet

FAIRVIEW – Alva High School track and field had its first meet of the season on Tuesday as the boys and girls teams traveled to Fairview.
Both teams made a good showing in the first meet of the season, with the girls bringing home six first-place finishes and a team placing of fourth place, while the boys recorded the top spot in the 1600-meter relay.
Ray Ray Bell and Rianna Clark both had solid meets as they finished with three and two first-place finishes, respectively. Bell earned the top spot in the 800-meter and 1600-meter, and Clark finished first in the 400-meter and the long jump....
