RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Ashton Sangster has been named the Great American Conference Softball Player of the Week for week 10 of the 2018 season, the league office announced Tuesday.

Sangster, a sophomore from Van Buren, Ark., led the Golden Suns to a 5-1 week, including two wins over No. 19 Harding last Tuesday. Tech then took three of four games in a weekend series against Southeastern Oklahoma.
