RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – SWOSU Baseball has a Great American Conference Pitcher of the Week for the first time in the 2017-18 season following Cooper Cantwell's second consecutive shutout which came against Oklahoma Baptist last Friday.

Cantwell threw a complete game shutout against the Bison, surrendering just four hits – all singles – while striking out nine and walking just one. He has thrown back-to-back shutouts against Southern Nazarene and now Oklahoma Baptist and pushes his consecutive scoreless inning count to 17.
